Both Computer have French (France) Keyboard layout set (*Mac* Security set in *General* and *French* Keyboard set in *Advanced* ) *iTeleport Connect* installed To get the proper key pressed on the remote computer I need to set the Keyboard to US on the controled computer in Order to Get the French Layout !!! (basic test being azerty and the proper placement of the *@* sign [before the *&/1* key]) Thats crazy, I encountered that BUG when iTeleport debuted on iOS in 2009 !!! (It is what It is, no more excuse about the lack of a client side server) Please fix That Ugly Old Bug, Thanks ##### SOLVED

This app is really nice, the only issue I found is you can’t use any screen resolution automatically, you stay on 800x600.

Way too expensive and way to slow. Decided to use Splashtop. Cheaper and much faster.

Sorry guys, it wont work like this. iTeleport for iOS ist absolutely great, but for Mac the software is so slow that it is useless even in the local WiFi network. People are posting complaints in the support forum to no avail. Ive had a lot of patience, and usually I wait a long time before I negatively rate an App, but this is inacceptable.

unfortunately there seems to be no copy and paste when using the Mac screen sharing option. :-( Everything else runs fine.

I have been using this application for the past month with good success. I had a configuration issue initially which was quickly resolved by customer support. I have been using the iPhone version for over a year with no problems.

I have been using iTeleports line of Apps on my iPhone / iPads for years!! Absolutely fantastic! I own my own computer repair business and normally people bring their computers to me. But because of how simple and easy it is to setup iTeleport on a PC to control it i have started offering my clients a new service "Remote Assistance"! Remote assisstance has been around for a long time but it could not be easily used due to the complicated setups required on the host computers. But with iTeleport that issue is solved in an instant! I have tried MANY other VNC apps for iPhone / iPad, rangeing from $5 - $99. And i can personally say that none of them come any close to iTeleport in terms of easy to use / hassle-free setup & cost $$. And thanks to their iPad app i can easily be anywhere in the world and still stay connected with my clients when they need me. Often however, i would wish they had iTeleport for the Mac because sometimes i need to connect to a client while i am in my office. Now they have taken it a step further with iTeleport for Mac App. I have been using it for a few hours now and am VERY happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend this App to anyone looking for a powerful, feature-filled, VNC App for the iDevices & Macs. for 50 buck id expect a top notch, professional app, which this isnt.

This app is a real deal. I couldnt think this would be that easy. Thumb up.

the ipad/iphone versions are good. this desktop version is just awful and slow.

I was holding my breath while downloading the latest update. First one in a loooooong time. Touted “performance improvements” TWICE in the description, so I was really hoping for something this time (since the application was completely unusable as it was). And…brutal. I’d say “anti-performance” improvements. It’s running slower that the previous version (which was already unusably slow). I don’t understand why this application is so slow. All the alternatives (ARD over VPN, LogMeIn, TeamViewer, iTeleport for iOS, Screens) are all blazingly fast compared to this software—I just don’t get it. And, once again, delete.

I have been using this for a few years now, it has given me no trouble, and I sometimes work using a 1.6Mb connection. When I had a small issue recently support emailed me within 4 hours and problem solved. There have been a few poor ratings, but no details. I also use Team Viewer, can’t see any difference in the performance. I use this app mostly to help family and friends with computer issues, Windoze and Mac. If I was to suggest an improvement it would be to Group the remote hosts.

I just bought teleport, it took my money from my card but when I download it,it says dameged file. I delete it and I sign out from my account and sign in back but i suprised becaouse on purchases i cant see it, i searched this app again and it says to me i have to buy it. wht is this??????

Very good app. Worth to be recommended.

Bugs: - custom port resetting to default value when editing connection (RDP) - resolution width resetting to 1 pixel after editing connection (RDP) - crash when logging off from windows host (RDP) - cmd+Q doesnt work Too many bugs for 2$ :( For RDP: Free client from Microsoft is better.

Can you add synchronization via iCloud, instead Google?

After update to El Capitan, iTeleport Connect no longer connects and the icon remains “off”...

Barely works, won’t connect usually, when it does it stops responding after a few minutes. Wrote emails to support. They said its Escalated to development. What’s customer support? Once they got your money why should they care? Edit: No update for two years? Is this how developers operate? Not acceptable for something so expensive.
