Useful. Reliable. Works with iTeleport Connect. Worth $50
UPDATE: RDP support in v6.0 takes this app to another level! btw you dont have to use a Gmail account. Its completely optional. If youre an advanced user, you can setup port forwarding and all of that stuff.
I dont review a lot of apps, but I also dont pay $50 for a lot of apps either :). This is one of those rare apps that leaves me feeling that I got what I paid for (and then some).
Ive used several VNC clients in the past, and this Mac version of iTeleport is one of the best. It took me minutes to setup and the interface is dead simple. I installed iTeleport Connect on my work PC and installed this bad boy up on my Macbook at home. Logged in with my gmail account, et voila!
Connected to my work PC with a click. It all worked without a hitch, and it was pretty fast to boot. I cant believe theyve made this so easy. Even my wife thought it was impressive, and amazingly she didnt flinch when I told her I spent $50 bucks on it :)
In the future, Id like to see some extensions and improvement to the way the app handles panning around desktops with big resolutions. Im sure theyre already working on that, and I cant wait to see how they improve this app.
Overall, hands down the best VNC client on the Mac App Store.
