Problem in version 1.0.2 (Feb 25th 2012)
French Keyboard Mapping mixed up with the US one… again!!!
Both Computer have French (France) Keyboard layout set (*Mac* Security set in *General* and *French* Keyboard set in *Advanced* )
*iTeleport Connect* installed
To get the proper key pressed on the remote computer I need to set the Keyboard to US on the controled computer in Order to Get the French Layout !!! (basic test being azerty and the proper placement of the *@* sign [before the *&/1* key])

Thats crazy, I encountered that BUG when iTeleport debuted on iOS in 2009 !!! (It is what It is, no more excuse about the lack of a client side server)

Please fix That Ugly Old Bug,
